Healthy Gaming Habits

At GameSpinRun, we love immersive MMORPGs and casual simulations just as much as you do. However, getting lost in a digital world should never come at the expense of your physical or mental wellbeing. We encourage all players to adopt healthy gaming practices.

1. The 20-20-20 Rule

To prevent eye strain, practice the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes of screen time, look away at an object that is at least 20 feet away for a full 20 seconds. This allows your eye muscles to relax and reduces digital eye fatigue.

2. Ergonomics and Posture

Whether you're raiding a dungeon or managing a virtual farm, ensure your setup is ergonomic. Keep your monitor at eye level, sit back in your chair with proper lumbar support, and rest your feet flat on the floor. Avoid slouching for prolonged periods.

3. Set Time Boundaries

MMORPGs are designed to be engaging, often featuring endless loops of content. It is crucial to set boundaries. Decide on a playtime limit before you log in, and use alarms or built-in timers to remind yourself when it's time to log off and engage in physical activities.

4. Hydration and Movement

Keep a bottle of water at your desk and stay hydrated. During loading screens or between matches, take a moment to stretch your arms, neck, and back. Get up and walk around the room every hour to maintain healthy blood circulation.

5. Managing Microtransactions

All games featured on our platform are free-to-play, meaning you can enjoy them without spending money. They may offer optional cosmetic items or conveniences. Always treat these purchases as optional, strictly manage your entertainment budget, and never feel pressured to spend.
